We started actually tracking! The best feeling ever... We never thought such songs could sound the way they do on tape. We also made a trip out to Ziggy's farm to do some more pre- production which was incredibly peaceful except for the moodiest band ever! Who would've thought such a cool and tranquil place would inspire some of the funniest arguments ever. Fitz VS craig, Doug Vs Fitz, Jason VS Bud light, Roach VS ziggy, gareth and farm animals and Craig VS the low entry way to the practice room...
We cooked much meat (no farm animals) and drank many beers as we digested some newer and older material to prepare for the studio the following week. The view is gorgeous with a huge lake and an old practice house that housed many of abe Lincoln's family. It was really inspiring to go somewhere away from everything and just be there with your music. Big thanks to Ziggy for letting us go out there and act a fool.
We cannot wait for anything to be done just to let everyone hear it. August is a cool month for us: August 1st - The Pit with The Audio, The vanity Affair and The nEw Holiday...all friends of ours and it'll be our first time at The Pit.
August 2nd - Our first show at FUBAR (3108 Locust) with some really cool bands, but DO NOT MISS:
AUGUST 28th - The Old ROckhouse with King Thief and Violence to Vegas
